Owners of the special multimedia device will be able to purchase a Game Boy Player through Panasonic.

Panasonic has announced that it will be releasing a Game Boy Player that is compatible with its version of the GameCube known as the Q.

The Game Boy Player is an adapter for the Nintendo GameCube that allows Game Boy and Game Boy Advance titles to be played on the console. While Panasonic's Q is a GameCube-compatible multimedia player that also plays DVD and music CDs, Nintendo's original Game Boy Player could not be connected to the system due to architectural differences.
