Star Wars: KOTOR for PC goes gold

LucasArts announced that Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic for the PC has gone gold and will be in North America retail stores on November 18th, 2003.

Rated "T" for "Teen" by the ESRB, and developed by BioWare, Knights of the Old Republic is currently available for the Xbox. Featuring an all new Star Wars storyline Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic includes a new PC specific interface, enhanced graphics and sound, and a special trading area where users can get different weapons, armor and clothing items.

KOTOR offers an action-focused Star Wars role-playing experience with customizable and evolving playable characters. Players choose from nine customizable characters to build a party of three adventurers, including humans, droids, Twi'leks, Wookiees and more and journey across seven different worlds including Tatooine, Sith world of Korriban, Jedi Academy on Dantooine and Wookiee homeworld of Kashyyyk.

-This program can check Themes services to let user enable or disable this Themes.
-This program can detect setup files beforce run program to avoid system file replace problems
-This program can use on Windows XP build 2600 or build 2600 with SP1 build 1106 and Windows Server 2003 build 3790
-This program can test sharing violation to avoid system file replace problems
-This program will apply Plex Style with new taskbar and Longhorn screensaver after restart. You can change it yourself and choose other Plex themes and wallpapers
-This program is not recommend for multi-language edition of XP. (However, you can use it)
-This program can use rollback function by run setup again after restart (get previous OS files)

-Add Longhorn Visual Style name "Plex Style" with patched UXTheme

Wouldn't be suprised if this turns out to be another crap Console->PC port.

This game is a lot closer to a movie than other SW games; it has a lot tighter, longer, and better storyline than other SW games. There were 100 people (professionals, including the person who plays Neelix on ST:Voyager) doing voices for 300 characters in KOTOR, so this is definitely something special .

Im gonna get this one The last good SW game was on N64 and they just made another version of it for Game Cube Before that was the original SW game in the arcades... They are kind of hit and miss LOL

Bioware usually makes good stuff, I just wish this was in the Episode 4-6 era, rather than this more fantasy-oriented pre-prequel era. No Emperor, Darth Vader and stormtroopers = boredom.
