Blizzard has today announced in its official forums that it will start accepting sign-ups for World of Warcraft towards the end of this month, although the only date given for the beta itself is early 2004. The post from Blizzard employee 'Katricia' also mentions that the company is in the process of investigating how files from an alpha version of the game came to be leaked onto the Internet after a small group of external testers were allowed into its internal alpha test, stating that serious action will be taken against those involved.
