- Well, even though the music is utter rubbish compared to FFX's, FFX-2 still is a pretty decent game and gives good closure (if you get the good ending, that is).

QUOTE FFVII was the greatest RPG ever made... what kind of crack are you smoking?
Agree, it was one of best game that I ever had played. When I tried the VIII and it was an okay version, but VII is better. VIII was the last one that I played and was like only an hour play. I am wondering what's other best version like VII?
<edit>
Err, when will someone fix this sh!tty quote feature that isn't work very well..

- What's the UK release date for this game?
-
#5.1 Posted by Caelamia on 24 Jan 2004 - 14:12
- I believe it is 20th February, but I know what Squaresoft are like with their PAL conversions. "Final Fantasy X will be released in February. Er, actually, better put that back a month. Well, let's leave it till May and see if anyone notices we put it back again..."
Honestly, look at the release date for Final Fantasy 11 in Europe. 13th August 2004?!? How many months space is that from the USA release?! And that's just the PC version. The European PS2 version seems to have quietly slipped away from media attention and will never see the light of day.

- Cool game... kinda... but I like the traditional storyline better than FFX-2's 'mission' system, and I also miss my World Map from every of iteration of the series (other than FFX and FFXI of course). Furthermore, having only three main characters total through out the game was a bit of a downer, but they did well with what they set out to do.
Good old fashioned FFX gameplay however, with only minor complaints here and there.

- I am a bit biased because I LOVE all the Final Fantasy line including the new one for PS2 and Gamecube (yes Gamecube). My favorite one is FFVIII with the draw magic command. But FFVII paved the way for RPG's to come!!!

- I liked it. It wasn't as good as some of the other FF's but it had it's moments.

- ff8 was poor alright, they probably got away with releasing a poor version after the huge success of ff7

- How can any of you say FINAL FANTASY VIII was poor?! That game was solid, unlike your soft heads!
I can't wait for a sequel to FFVIII!
