The WWII shooter's latest update contains the Battle of Caen, Nazi helicopters, and a patrol boat-load of fixes.

Today, Electronic Arts released the latest in a long line of updates for Battlefield 1942. As usual, the patch for the World War II action game's patch is large in size--148.7 MB for the v1.5 to v1.6.19 edition, 274.2 MB for the from-scratch flavor. Both updates can be downloaded below or on DLX. The update also includes the customary two new levels (the Liberation of Caen and the Raid on Agheila), new vehicles (Lynx scout car and Flettner helicopter), and new weapons (Johnson M1941 LMG). The full feature and fix list is available on the official BF1942
Web site.

DVD X Copy XPRESS only copies a single audio track from the DVD, and a single subtitle, this will ALWAYS fit onto 1 DVD. In the event that a movie is still too large, XPRESS uses a new compression system to shrink the film to exactly fill 1 blank DVD. There can be a small amount of image quality lost.

Limitations: 14-day trial. Allow you to make a partial backup of a movie.

321 Studios also offers a "Gold" Package, which combines DVD X Copy and DVD X copy XPRESS in one bundle for a reduced price. You can find them HERE

It's good to see that EA didn't abandon BF1942. I'll have to download this patch later on when I'm not as lazy.

CoD is a just a dumb MoH:AA ripoff. Even so, MoH: AA sucks as well.

pffft Call of Duty dosnt even have over 32 authentic WWII drivable vehicles, heh it will suffer the same fate as MOHAA did in less than a year. BF1942 will always be the king, not some cheap clone like CoD. Although I must admit the demo was visually pleasing, but the Q3 engine is ageing

Actually, the MOH (be it AA, SH or BT) community is pretty strong, obviosly not as much compared to the BF or CS communities, but still pretty strong.

Pay a visit to the NER Clan, I always play on their servers.

This stupid patch messes everything up. God damn, is there ever such a thing as quality control? I mean, I use quite ordinary hardware and have latest software, test it twice or something!

I don't have any problems with it. Works perfect, and a great update in my opinion!
