EA has released a new behind-the-scenes video showcasing the development of Battle for Middle-earth. The team that created Red Alert 2 and Generals is creating the real-time strategy game using the Generals engine. The Battle for Middle-earth offers both good and evil campaigns set in locations taken from the movies. Players command a variety of armies from the films - each with its own strengths and weaknesses. Battle for Middle-earth utilizes the digital assets created for the movies and features exclusive voiceovers from the real actors as well as actual footage from the three motion pictures. The game is scheduled for a summer release.
