It's not quite Gran Turismo 4 Prologue, but for most of us in the States, it will have to do...

Recently, the word went out that a free demo was available for Gran Turismo 4. You, I, or anyone else can get it. That's the good news. The bad news is that it requires a lot of filling out alot of forms and requesting other materials from Toyota's website. Apparently, logging onto the website and requesting various information on the Prius hybrid and other things will net you one Gran Turismo 4 demo disc, along with some brochures and flyers about various Toyota products. The disc is apparently the same that was offered at Japanese Toyota dealers and the New York Auto Show last year. It reportedly has two cars (Prius and the Toyota MTRC Concept) and two tracks (the Fuji Speedway and Grand Canyon).

WTF the Prius is on GT 4?! Wow a POS hybrid on a racing game. The world is coming to an end and fast. I lost all hope for GT 4 now.

um.. gt is not just a racing game, u can buy all sorts of cars. start low and go high.

it would get real old fast if all the cars in the game were super concept cars.

"um.." I know, but including that car is taking it way too low.

umm...why? the GT series has always had crummy cars mixed in with amazing ones...it's a game to test out cars, while having fun with them in ways that the dealer and street laws would never let you do.

i have the game at home.. i got from the AUTO SHOW NEW YORK. Toyota was giving it away without filling up stuff.. and all that.. but the demo only lets you play for 2 mins or less and you can only do one lap on the Fuji Speedway.

as the Toyota MTRC Concept has an open cockpit... does GT4 put some sort of driver in the car.. or in third person does it look like the car is driving its self?
