Challenging Driv3r for the summer hit throne, ATVI's latest ships loads.

Activison will soon ship two million units of movie tie-in Spider-Man 2 to retail worldwide. The game was first launched alongside the opening of the movie in North America and will arrive in the UK and a number of other countries this week.

Spider-Man 2 movies smashed the box office records in USA on its opening weekend, breaking their old record by almost $80 million! Now, the competition is heating up to see whether Driv3r or Spider-man 2 will be the biggest gaming hit of the summer. Driv3r shipped 2.5 million units to retail in advance last month and Spider-man 2 is expecting to do the same soon.
