- Yeah, from what I saw, I'd have to agree with you.
It doesn't seem that they paid any homeage to the original Goldeneye either... it woulda been nice to see, for example, some of the maps from the original Goldeneye recreated and associated with this title for today's gamers just as respect for the original, or at least, to make some sort of a connection between the games. Never know... could still see that though.
But from first impressions, looks like another cash-in.

New in-game footage of GoldenEye: Rogue Agent shows off a plethora of locations, the wide range of weapons on offer and the cool-looking twin gunplay (replete with independent triggers for each firearm). As previously mentioned, the game (which, in spite of the name, isn't actually a sequel to Rare's N64 classic) doesn't see gamers take the role of Bond but instead has them play as - yes - a rogue agent who's been dismissed from MI6 and whose ultimate aim is to take over the world. Obviously. We'll have a full preview in the near future.
