NCsoft has announced that it has released the second update to the critically acclaimed MMORPG City of Heroes called Issue 2: A Shadow of the Past. The automatic update has players face an invasion of monsters from another dimension that lasts for several days. Responding to overwhelming feedback, capes will finally be in--but unfortunately, you need to be level 20. Other changes include the ability to adjust super powers when reaching level 24, and new visual effects when hitting level 30.
The invading force will appear from one of two zones added to the game, and all heroes, regardless level, can participate in fighting off the invasion. The other new zone is called Hollows, an area consisting of stone and fire enemies called Magmites and Pumicites geared toward players at levels 5 to 15.
