- Why do you bother posting about that in a DS thread? Don't you know it's against the rules of this community?

If you look at their post it wasn't victimising or hateful, so it couldn't possibly have been inciting flaming. It wasn't a particularly clever post, but it was on topic (consoles).-

- I hope this encourage Sony to put PS Portable out of its pre-mature miseries - short pattery life, lousy launch titles, etc does not a great portable platform make.
Nintendo has always understand the limitation and advantages of their portable platform, and the significance of launch titles - I guess it is too hard to expect developers to realized that direct port (or cut-down versions) of console titles always spell a quick and painful death for their platform.

The Nintendo DS is the third best-selling video game console for the week of October 11-17, Nikkei BP Consulting reports today. Of course, the machine isn't out until December 2 in Japan, but electronics retailers are including preorders for the system in their sales calculations.
First place in this week's chart went to Nintendo's other handheld, the Game Boy Advance SP. The standard PlayStation 2 hardware was ranked at second place, and fourth place was taken by preorders for the upcoming redesigned version of the PS2. The Nintendo GameCube came in at fifth place.

Outside of those two stand-out titles, however, it's a quiet week for the Japanese market, with no other games breaking through the 10,000 sales mark, and overall sales down by almost 40 per cent from last week to just under 500,000 units.
Nintendo's recent releases continue to sell fairly well, with Pokemon Emerald at number three and Fire Emblem: Seima no Kouseki at number four, while Bandai's anime franchises are also still ranked highly - Naruto: Narutimate Hero 2 is at number five, while Gundam SEED: Never Ending Tomorrow is at six.
In hardware terms, the GBA is once again the best selling platform on the market, enjoying a massive 57 per cent market share compared to 36 per cent for the PlayStation 2, while the GameCube makes up the remaining seven per cent.
