- FF2 is one of the best RPGs of all time... next to FF3.
I don't think I've ever played FF1. This might be worth me picking up a GameBoy SP just to play these classics again. -

- I'm pretty sure that by "FF2", they mean the real FF2, not FFIV, which was released as FF2 here in the states.
'Our' FF2 was on the SNES. 'Their' FF2 was on the Famicom (NES). -

- yea they are the original famicom games that are being released, not the US equivalents. i wonder what happened to ff3 for the famicom? it seems to have slipped through the cracks as I, II, IV, V, and VI have all been redone

- FF3 is on it's way to the GBA. ffonline.com rumors it, and it was either gamespy or gamespot that confirmed it.
The whole series will be complete soon! 'Bout f'n time!

Nintendo today shipped Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls for the Game Boy Advance. The title contains the first two role-playing games in Square Enix's popular Final Fantasy series, originally released for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) in the early 1990s. The two games were previously re-released for the PlayStation as Final Fantasy Origins in 2003, and the GBA editions games sport improved graphics, enhanced sound, and new dungeons to explore.
Final Fantasy retains a lot of the improvements made to the PlayStation version, including better save capabilities and gameplay tweaks. In the game, four characters must band together and use the power of light and four crystals to defeat evil.
Thanks to 477!14 for the heads-up on this one!
