Midway Games has announced their acquistion of Paradox Development (not to be confused with Paradox Entertainment in Europe), who is currently working on Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks. Midway purchased the privately held Moorpark, California developer in an all-stock transaction for 333,334 Midway common shares (approx. $3,646,674). The acquisition marks Midway's third of the year, as they bought Texas-based Inevitable Entertainment in October 2004 and Seattle, Washington-based Surreal Software in April 2004.
