An updated Linux demo for DOOM 3 is now available, upgrading this sample of the sci-fi horror first-person shooter by id Software to version 1.1.1286, in sync with the recent retail patch. As before, this release adds new sound code with ALSA and multichannel sound output support, along with a number of bug fixes.
