Ubi Soft sends along an AMD64 / WinXP Pro x64 upgrade for Far Cry along with an "exclusive content" add-on for the tropical island first-person shooter by Crytek Studios. Word on the massive downloads is: "The AMD64 upgrades of Far Cry are meant to run on the final released version of the new Windows XP Professional x64 Edition. If you are running a Beta version of this software, we cannot insure compatibility. Please note that the goal of the AMD64 upgrades is to transform the 32-bit version of the game into a 64-bit version of the game to be played on the Windows XP Pro x64 Edition OS."
