Blizzard bans nearly 54,000 on Battle.net

On the Warcraft III Battle.net website news comes that Blizzard has taken action against 53,928 accounts and CD keys on Battle.net for hacking or cheating. 3,331 of these accounts have been banned permanently from ladder play, and 8,168 of the accounts have been banned from ladder play for one month. According to the website, Blizzard will continue to monitor Battle.net for illegal activities such as hacks, and act accordingly.

I am so glad to see this being done now with a lot of titles. We pay good money on our games and do not need it ruined by these goof balls. Now, if only novalogic would get there act together.
