- nice map and nice quality update unlike *cough* BF2's crappy lame attempt at an "update"
-
#11 Posted by bangbang023 on 08 Jul 2005 - 03:16
- The only thing I'm a little unhappy about is that they shrunk the models a bit and the T's look like midgets.

- Assault was terrible.. they overdid it.. Why can't anything be like 1.6? Assault looks like a damn city

-
#12.1 Posted by maulia on 08 Jul 2005 - 04:45
- "Assault looks like a damn city"
And why is this bad? I kinda like it - feels more real as in you are attacking a warehouse in the outskirts of a city
Harder to camp as well - giving CTs a better chance -
#12.2 Posted by karma_police on 08 Jul 2005 - 16:13
- Then play 1.6

- Just wondering what's the difference between normal cs 1.6 and cs1.6-source?
-
#13.1 Posted by bangbang023 on 08 Jul 2005 - 05:23
- There's no such thing as 1.6-source. It's either 1.6 or CS: Source.
-
#13.3 Posted by evileye on 08 Jul 2005 - 06:03
- CS Source = CS with the hl2 'source' engine, same as 1.6 nah... feels different frm 1.6, lot of new features, better graphics, etc

- source is the worst pos ever created by human hands
-
#22.1 Posted by [HUSKY] on 10 Jul 2005 - 10:09
- im gona go back into time, back to 1999.
source > cs 1.6 -
#22.2 Posted by terryb on 10 Jul 2005 - 22:13
- you dont have to travel back in time to play 1.6, you can play it right now in 2005.
and how does source being newer make it better then 1.6 again?
starcraft is still the best rts ever made, nothing doesnt even come close to it, and is like way older then cs. -
#22.3 Posted by [HUSKY] on 11 Jul 2005 - 09:48
- i never said anything about source being better because its newer.
so shut up
-
#22.5 Posted by AethylFilth on 11 Jul 2005 - 14:56
- it sure does, but it doesn't mean "better because its newer", kthxstfu
-
#22.6 Posted by terryb on 11 Jul 2005 - 22:08
- first you say: ZOMG 1.6 IS TEH OLDZ0R LOLROFLWAFFLE!!1111oneone
then: S0URCE >> l.6 KANX OMGWTFBBQ!!111
and if you put 2 and 2 together = source is better because its newer... -
#22.7 Posted by AethylFilth on 12 Jul 2005 - 13:00
- you're making an assumption there, that they connected the two statements. In fact, they were two separate sentences, on three different lines.

Today, Valve Software has released the latest update for its popular multiplayer shooter, Counter-Strike: Source. The update, which will be automatically installed on PCs with the client program to Valve's Steam delivery service, includes the addition of the classic "Assault" map from the original Counter-Strike. Counter-Strike: Source is the original Counter-Strike remade with the new Source graphics engine, the basis of Half-Life 2. However, not all maps from the original game were updated.
