New screenshots for the highly anticipated third installment of the Age of Empires franchise have been made available for our viewing pleasure, showcasing what is arguably not only the best looking RTS engine to date, but one of the best in any genre. The new screens show a great variety in terrain, from the beaches of the Caribbean to the sub-zero Russian winter. Also, in case you've missed them, IGN and GameSpot also have updated previews posted for the game. Age of Empires III is due out on shelves October 18th of this year.
