ROSE Online has decided to release their closed beta! It will now end at October 2nd, then make their adjustments for the full release. Anyone who has played ROSE knows that it was hit by a plague of hackers, bots, and every form of cheat available. Despite the problems of the past, ROSE has pushed forward and will release a P2P version soon. The letter was said by the ROSE NA GM Team:

Greetings ROSE NA Players,

We would like thank all of you for participating in our ROSE NA Online Closed Beta testing period. We are happy to announce that the Closed Beta period is being extended to October 2, 2005.

Also, many of you have been asking the question of whether there will be a server reset or wipe of any kind in the Closed Beta. We would like to inform you that we do not have any intention of having a server reset or wipe during the beta stages of ROSE NA Online.

Please understand though that even without having the intention of having a server wipe, there is still the possibility if there is a severe cause for one.

Once the Closed Beta period comes to an end, there will be a short shut down to maintain and prepare the servers for the Open Beta. More information will be posted regarding this when it becomes available.

Thank you,
ROSE NA GM Team

A simple MMORPG who doesn't want all the frills and complications of Guild Wars and/or World of Warcraft... with vehicles!

It's a fun simple game, especially if your friends join too.

I have never heard of this.

Their site does not mention anything about shipping, is this a free game?

Looks cool.
