After some xbox owners were disgruntled by the lack of backwards support on the 360 for classics such as Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and well over 300 others can take some solace from the fact that anything’s better then Japan. Despite making a reasonable commitment to backwards compatibility across N America and Europe, Japanese Xbox 360 owners will be able to select from just 12 titles including:

- Fable
- Forza Motorsport
- Grand Theft Auto Double Pack
- Halo
- Halo 2
- Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack
- Jade Empire
- Ninja Gaiden
- Ninja Gaiden Black
- Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3
- The Simpsons Hit & Run
