The promised Day of Defeat: Source update has now been released. All you need do is log into Steam, and the update will automagically download. There are only two new things in this update, one fix and of course a new map which I know alot of you have been waiting for.
They fixed player models getting stuck on objects, which as some of you may know is quite annoying on certain maps such as Anzio.
The new map is an updated version of the classic DoD map Kalt. This new version includes the famous HDR lighting, and a new way of rendering the snow and ice to make it look more realistic.
No new information was released about the upcoming new player models for Counter-Strike: Source.
