The NPD Group has released their Top 20 Best Selling PC games list for the month of October. Sims and World of Warcraft will seemingly never drop out of the top 5 best sellers, which I'm sure EA and Blizzard are happy about day to day! So here we go, this is the full list for October and remember, this is for the PC:
  1. The Sims 2 Pets - Electronic Arts
  2. World of Warcraft - Blizzard Entertainment
  3. Battlefield 2142 - Electronic Arts
  4. Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War Dark Crusade - THQ
  5. Flight Simulator X Deluxe - Microsoft
  6. The Sims 2 Glamor Life Stuff - Electronic Arts
  7. Company of Heroes - THQ
  8. Paws and Claws Pet Vet - Valusoft
  9. The Sims 2 - Electronic Arts
  10. Flight Simulator X - Microsoft
  11. Guild Wars: Nightfall - NCSoft
  12. Seaworld Adventure Parks Tycoon 2 - Activision
  13. Desperate Housewives - Buena Vista Games
  14. Civilization IV - 2K Games
  15. Age of Empires III: The Warchiefs - Microsoft
  16. Guild Wars: Nightfall Collector's Edition - NCSoft
  17. Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy - Lucasarts
  18. Age of Empires III - Microsoft
  19. Sim City 4: Deluxe - Electronic Arts
  20. The Sims 2 Nightlife - Electronic Arts
So there you have it boys and girls. Four Sims 2 games/expansions in the top 20. Six EA games, four from Microsoft. I'm telling you, these marketing guys know what they are doing.

theres no proper amazing games there... ive heard gd things of Company Of Hero's. but i'd buy none of those games. its a shame gaming has gone down hill.

Lets hope next gen consoles can do something better other than support EA so much.
