Microsoft has confirmed that it will feature video games on the Zune by 2008. This is planned to be available, however, in 18 months. The iPod has offered games on the iPod screen for quite some time but the Zune has the advantage of a 3-inch display. The software giant has also announced that it would want to add wireless video sharing and possibly follow in the iPhone’s footsteps and fuse a phone into the Zune. Microsoft’s Zune hasn’t been doing very well in terms of sales but the company aims to hit 1 million sales in the first seven months.

How about letting people connect to their routers via wifi?? How about dumping that dumb 3/3 rule? Those 2 problems alone kill this player. And its too bad because it looks great.

The RIAA wouldn't allow the second thing. Besides, it has been cracked and it will continue to be cracked, so at least it "can be done".

!?
Bad, why does everyone say that?

They gained a 2% market share in one month according to Apple's keynote this morning (or afternoon as it had been here). 2% in one month is a huge gain, considering the massive numbers of MP3 players out there and the amount of competition between all the random companies making them these days. No other MP3 player to my knowledge has made the impact the Zune has against the iPod, people should be just happy there's some halfway respectble competition out there now.

Is it me, or is that poorly written?

Interesting though, can't wait!

I rather PSP all the life. Plus no DRM.
