It's been reported that Xbox 360 Live gold members can now download a demo for Crackdown from the Xbox Live Marketplace. Clear up your hard drive space, as the demo will be 1.24 GB to download. Silver Members will have to wait until next week to download the demo.

Xbox live states: "It's time to clean up the streets. It's time for a Crackdown. Download the Crackdown demo today - featuring both single player and online cooperative play."

Just tried it, didn't like it much. Not my type of game and I am not going to be one of those idiots that will buy it just for the Halo 3 BETA :/.
