Along with the official Xbox 360 Elite announcement, Microsoft has revealed the addition of multiple new agreements with A&E Network, ADV Films, National Geographic and TotalVid.com to bring TV series and movies to the U.S. Xbox Live Video Marketplace. Microsoft is also partnering with Paramount Pictures to offer high definition feature films for download and for the first time, Warner Brothers Home Entertainment will be releasing its direct-to-video movies exclusively in high definition on Xbox Live simultaneous with their availability on DVD.

With more than 300 games expected by year’s end, an Xbox LIVE community of more than 6 million people and a growing catalogue of premium content from some of the biggest names in entertainment today, Xbox 360 is an incredible value. Adding partners and content like this helps reinforce the console’s position as the center of connected entertainment in the living room,” said Peter Moore, corporate vice president of the Interactive Entertainment Business in the Entertainment and Devices Division at Microsoft.

Microsoft likes and is trying to make everything "one-stop-shop".

Still nothing about support for this in Canada? It's a shame, really. No Canadians will want to upgrade their hard drives to 120GB if they can't fill it with HD goodness.

Maybe they should focus on expanding their current US marketplace to the rest of the world first.

What's the point in a 120GB HD then? There's NOTHING on the Marketplace outside US right now except their retarded icons.

You act like the US Marketplace is the single largest marketplace of any that Microsoft could offer...

I'm not saying they shouldn't expand, because I think they should, but the US does push the most consoles of any territory.

Also, it's not really MS's fault if the studios don't let them put the content in other Marketplaces.

If you really want it though, you can make an account and just put that you're in the US region. MS doesn't actually check for that.

Do people realize the hard drive could be used for stuff other than HD content? They can't have all the networks with them at one period neither. Give it some time.

People act like every network should have content on there overnight simply because a new HDD is coming out
