This is misleading. It's rare for an original Xbox title to run in 720p or 1080i. Your screen display may say 1280x720 or 1920x1080, but it's really running in either 640x480 or 848x480, depending on if you're running in 16:9, or 4:3. Just like with Gears of War--before the most recent patch when they had it set to run full screen with 4:3 screens, your screen may have said 1280x1024, but it was *not* running in that resolution, according to Mark Rein.

They claim Halo 2 can run at 720p, which is misleading. From the videos I've seen at IGN, it is definitely not a 16:9 resolution it runs at, which means it's not 720p.
