The PlayStation 3 1.94 firmware update, only currently available with Insomniac's Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, adds firmware-level support for the upcoming rumble-enabled DualShock3 controller. Tools of Destruction is the first retail game with built-in support for the DualShock3, although Sony has plans for releasing many future games with the “new” feature. By pressing the middle PS button on a PS3 DualShock3 controller, the DualShock3's rumble can be toggled on or off from the Controller Setting menu in-game. Sony plans to release the DualShock3 in Japan this November, with the peripheral coming to the U.S. and Europe this spring.

My moto stands: If you're going to buy a next-generation console, wait until the competition has been released, analyse which make the most sales, look at the line of games, and work out with your brain which is best for you.

Vibration feedback provided great emersion in the game (when done right), look at the orginal metal gear soild. The "it's old gen" arugement by Sony was nothing more then a smoke screen to cover up the legal / patent issues sony had with another company (which they paid to use patent).
Having motion + vibration control can greatly enrich a game.
"Due to the motion senceing technology we were not able to include the rumble feature"
Sony = Lies
