Eidos Interactive and Crystal Dynamics have announced Underworld, the sequel to Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Legend. The game is scheduled for release in 2008 for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. Tomb Raider Underworld is set around the ancient Mayan calendar.

There was a Gamecube port of Legend that worked fine, but they're not bothering with a Wii port of this one? Meh. Crystal Dynamics can't figure out how to move a 3D camera properly anyway...

The Legend Game was actually quite good. That was the only game that actually made me afraid of heights from a game. When ever I would be dangling over a rooftop I would just about crap my pants.

I don't give a toss about Tomb Raider, I only hope that they can use the engine properly for DX3.. I doubt it though, the engine doesn't seem very suited to the task.

The preview shots from Play magazine don't look too bad. It'll probably come out on GameTap since they have a deal with Eidos...

Legend was a pretty good game, but I really enjoyed anniversary. The original tomb raider somehow passed me by basically too, so it was great to actually experience the levels - I realised I was missing a great game!

But yeah, anniversary is the game that made me a big fan, comparitively legend was so-so.

Looking forward to another!

2 things to fix this time....1 the stupid framerate on every system I tried.... PSP version... I could not do half of those *cinimatic* moments casue of FPS issues... my pc.... crash all the time.. had to turn of shadows....zzz horrible fps on that also.. and I can run crysis well at max detail =/

2. if your gona do the cinimatic moments.. MAKE it freaking obvious what yer symbols mean!

rant over.. that being said... would be good to play another
