All your favorites from Rockstar Games are now on Steam! To celebrate, you'll save 10% on every title, from the complete Grand Theft Auto and Max Payne series to Manhunt, Midnight Club II, and more. Specially-priced collections and bundles are on sale, too, including The Rockstar Collection, which packs every Rockstar game for just $53.95 (regular price: $59.95). Hurry--the sale ends January 11.

See the full line-up of games and collections here.

It would be nice if they add the GTA classics (GTA and GTA2) to the list, for free download.

Rockstar has already released GTA 1 and 2 as a free download. It would be kind of redundant.

^^ They are in the bundle ^^ Not really redundant to have them all self contained

and on the price... says : $62.95 for the collection.

ahhh I see... rip off Britain gets a price jack.

I thought that might be due to VAT, apparently not the real amount is $73.97 inc VAT. They can get stuffed.

Just pay for it in dollars and when the currency gets convertered you only pay half as much.

The price we pay in the UK is higher, don't even think there is an option to buy in any currency other than dollars but that's not the point.

CoD4 was an even bigger rip off, twice the price on Steam as buying in the shops. Developers get greedy.

Still, I thought the Rockstar package was still a good deal so bought it anyway.

Why? For embracing technology?

Is it the money?
The platform?
The company Valve?
Soul? What you talking about?

If you had a product... and I told you that you could sell it on a different platform and cut out a middle man. You could also charge about the same price as a retail CD/DVD or more... and people would still buy it....

... what would you do?

If STEAM becomes too successful, Valve will start charging subscription fees. You'll eventually have regular STEAM features and "premium" features.

I dunno... back in 2004 when Steam first came out I hated the fact that I HAD to use it in order to play Half-Life 2. It was especially a pain in the ass because I was still on dial-up.

The other day I got an itch to play HL2, and I could not for the life of me find my original CDs. When I found out I could just login to my old steam account, view my games, and re-download and install all of them my opinion did a 180 on Steam.

My concern with Steam is: when Steam disappears, will I still be able to play those games somehow.

I bought it today, been playing Vice City...

shame you can't import your retail CD/DVD into steam, if you know what i mean, as I already own all games from this "Rockstar Collection" (except Manhunt and Wild Metal)...

also, I wonder if the games have been updated at all. cause I hate the sound engine, in GTA3 and GTA-VC - it's sooo buggy...

I always thought it was weird how I could never get my Linksys gamepad to work quite right in any of the GTA3 games on PC...
