New PlayStation 3 bundle for UK

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced a new PlayStation 3 bundle for UK consumers retailing at GBP 349.99. As well as the 40 GB console, the deal allows consumers to pick two first-party titles from a list which includes big pre-Christmas releases such as SingStar (including microphones), Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. The full list of first-party titles included in the deal is: Resistance: Fall of Man, Genji: Days of the Blade, Formula One, Ridge Racer 7, Heavenly Sword, Lair, Folklore, Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction, Warhawk (including headset), SingStar (including microphones) and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.

The offer begins this Friday, January 18.

That is nothing special really. Gamestation, for example, have the same system with a second-rate game for £299.

its rubbish, think amazon and play sell the 40gb ps3 for £280. so they want £70 for 2 of those games!

Yet another rip off for EU customers, when will we get the same deals/prices as the rest of the world ... And I am not just aiming this at Sony, Nintendo and MS are just as guilty.

ah i thought this might be a deal with the new tv tuner. that would be tempting. still waiting for some die hard games on the system though. it might be worth it by the end of the year, with another 10 packages to choose from.

Sony made a HUGE mistake..

I simply will never buy a PS3 if it doesn't have the emotion chip in it, that is the biggest buy point for me (massive back catalogue of some really great games), without it it's worthless.
