Aspyr Media, Inc. announced today they will publish Call of Duty® 4: Modern Warfare™ for Mac, a gripping modern-day action-thriller that deploys players into heart-stopping battles across the world’s most treacherous hotspots. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare delivers unprecedented high-definition graphics, piercing 5.1 surround sound and a dynamic community-oriented multiplayer experience. Developed by Infinity Ward and licensed by Activision, the game is expected to be available for Mac in May 2008.

Great news! Now hopefully Valve will release Half-Life series for the Mac. That would rock!

This is (one of) the way to Apple acquire more users, in fact, Windows has much more users because of compatibility and variety.

So, i think if Apple have more (great) games it would be a nice step' in the right way.

Most Macs come with graphics cards incapable of playing any recent 3D game. It's like getting one of those office-centric Dells, then trying to add a good graphics card to it. It might not fit, it might overheat, or you may need a new PSU. Mac users generally do not know about this stuff any more than Windows noobs do. As a matter of fact, Foxconn makes most motherboards for both Dell and Apple, so there is literally no difference.

WOnder what the Minimum specs are? I tried finding them to no avail, anyone else have any luck?

I would bet in the same threshold as the PC ones, with a few optimizations. (You can't compare GH to CoD, but what the heck...)
