Interested in ramping up on XNA but like to learn in short and sweet videos? Jennifer Marsman has created a short set of videos to help you learn XNA five minutes (or less!) at a time. To get started, Jennifer introduces part 1 of the XNA Development Ramp up with an XNA Framework overview. In this screencast, you'll learn the software needed to get started using the XNA Framework to develop games for Windows and the XBOX 360.

Anyone notice that she sounds like she has candy or a lollipop in her mouth while trying to narrate?

Silverlight Required

Maybe they'll figure out a way to make Zunes a requirement for this eventually.

@ you. Seriously, why not use silverlight? It's good and it's their product. Do you complain when Adobe uses Flash or when Apple uses Quicktime???

Ok so #1 is "Let's talk about XNA" and #2 will be "Let's install Visual C# express and XNA", and by luck in #3 we'll get to see some actual code? I love XNA but I'm eager for some more advanced tutorials than what we've seen until now. Ok I know how to move a sprite on screen, now what? Teach me GUIs, basic AI techniques, saving/loading games, all the grunt.
