+ another 1 for CoD4 & The Orange Box

Although The Orange Box is technically cheating, what with the 3 awesome games in one there.

Pretty decent list. Especially the top 5.

However, I don't like that Orange Box + HL2: Episode 2 are on there. Either split the package or keep it together. :\

It has to be COD4. Best games I've played in years.

I'll really enjoying Team Fortress 2 which was part of the Orange Box.

games have been dissapointing me a lot recently. Either I'm growing up/out of games, or games just aren't as good anymore.

I was anticipating crysis for like a year, i was sooo excited to play it, and then i played it and just wasnt that impressed. The ending just ruined the whole game for me....

there are none, Cod4 is disappointing, hoped for so much more.

I see Galactic Civ got third, congrats on that one.

Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars and Unreal Tournament 3.

BIOSHOCK...i was replaying it last night...it's GREAT...but the ending doesn't fit with the rest of the game and spoils it (I never like games with boss battles, anyway)...

My vote x the cake is a lie.

Crysis is my 1st, then would go Gears of War/Bioshock and afterwards CoD4 (as CoD4 was too short)

Damn right!!

Half Life 2 EP2 shouldn't have been on the list because of the Orange Box. Don't get me wrong, it's still an amazing game with the best ending so far in the HL2 series.

My own personal picks, in no particular order: Orange Box, COD4, UT3. Bioshock and Crysis would be a bit further down.

Most disappointing? NFS Prostreet. (seriously. Probably the first NFS game in recent years I won't bother trying out.)

well PC wise i guess there list of COD4 and Orange Box was not bad... but PC wise i dont think there was any game i was really looking forward to in 2007... Half-Life 2 EP2 was overall good but i think Half-Life 2 addon's in general are starting to get old.... cause Half-Life 2 was great when it was released in 2004.. but now it just aint as good as it's starting to feel somewhat repetitive etc etc.

i think 'best games of 2007' (on ANY system be it PC or Console) i would choose 'Forza Motorsport 2' for the XBox360.... that a great sim racing game... and easily my favorite game of 2007 on any system.

p.s. i generally play almost all my games on the pc since i generally play shooters which i have to use PC since i suck on consoles with analog sticks for aiming, im far more accurate and quicker to aim on a mouse.

all-in-all though the main games im looking forward to (ON PC) are...

1.MAFIA 2 (the first one is one of my all-time favorite single player games! ... so theres alot of hype for me and im really looking forward to this title)
2.Hitman 5 (not much info about it out there but it's being made)
3.GTA4 (on PC, screw the consoles cause i cant aim on analog sticks... but anyways this overall i think is my least favorite of the 3 games im looking forward to)

Probably the first NFS game in recent years I won't bother trying out.)" ... i still think "NFS: Most Wanted" was the peak of the new NFS series (underground1+2/most wanted/carbon/pro street) and it went down hill from there... also, i aint played prostreet but it looked worse than Carbon and i never liked Carbon nearly as much as Most Wanted... what made most wanted so good was the cops in it! ... cause Carbon had em but they where not nearly as much of a factor in the overall game like they where in Most Wanted.
