- Whoah, people still talk about this game? With all that controversy, whether it was wanted or not, is it still worth releasing this game? I heard it didn't really garner positive reviews. I mean, it's not new anymore.

- Yeah, games can be sold online (as downloads) without having to be edited to meet the BBFC's classification/censorship. And now that Rockstar Games are on Steam, if/when a PC version of Manhunt 2 comes around, Steam would be ideal for people in the UK to get the game as Rockstar originally made it.

- The BBFC need to stop trying to ban things purely because of the media circus surrounding them. By the same reckoning you could say the Saw quadrilogy is pretty violent, and might influence someone to do something horrible to somebody else. It didn't stop them classifying them though. It's good to see the BBFC are totally independent.

The Video Appeals Committee upheld an earlier decision that the game could be sold, following a nine-month battle between makers Rockstar and UK censors.
The British Board of Film Classification had taken the fight to ban the game to the High Court, saying the game "went too far".
An edited version of the title will be released with an 18 certificate.
