Here's something you don't see every day! Players of Funcom's Age of Conan logged in today to reveal a new 'bug' in the game - their breasts were smaller! A recently released patch in the game caused some data to be changed in the morph values that control the character models, and the size of their respective bodyparts - specifically the breast size of female characters.

In response to complaints on the game's forum, Funcom has responded with a statement explaining that they are aware of the issue, and the unintended changes will be fixed very soon.

AoC's breasts are pixel perfect, what a great game.

GAME SALES PLUMMETED AFTER THIS NEWS!
#12 Scout82 on 03 Jun 2008 - 11:47
WOW thats pathetic! That you would complain formerly to get the change reverted. Funcom probably did it on purpose to see how its audience would respond. I bet they laughed thier butts off when everyone got "Enraged"

Nerfed boobs! I don't find it pathetic. It's very unlikely that these women had A cup breasts.

Conan O'Brien has a videogame?

It's not about the breast, it's about the fact that Funcom took the effort to reduce them, that they probably complied to some lame family watchgroup who was threatening them.

The game is rated M/18+ family watchdogs have nothing to complain about

Additionally, this was not done on purpose or with any "effort" as it was a bug in the update that made the game return to some previous settings/values related to sizes from an earlier build.

hahhaha OMG Ive seen it all now, complaining about the change in dimensions of rendered pixels.

STEP AWAY FROM THE KEYBOARD!

The only reason this story gets attention is because it involves boobs. If they made every character's legs shorter, players would be equally outraged.

People who don't play MMOs may not understand that when you create a character (especially one as detailed as in AoC), you want it to be what you created.

Games. Serious business.

I wonder if the staff of Eidos (?) held board meetings to discuss the "character development" of Lara Croft. I can imagine some bald, fat, sweaty executive in a shiny black business suit pointing to a dry erase board and illustrating:

"Now, since gaming is a mostly male-dominated market, I would like each of you to brainstorm and share any ideas about how we can use this character to appeal to our fanbase."

Yeah I cant say I'm fond of large breasts anyway but that has nothing to do with this game. People get worked up over such little things.

the big breasts alot of ppl like and for good reason if they cant have it a mod may be around that allows you.
