Microsoft has unveild two limited edition Xbox 360 controllers, which come in blue or red finishes.

The new controllers will retail with rechargeable battery packs, in the same finish as the controller, and are to be priced at USD 64.99.

Microsoft's website lists the controllers as being available from September 30 and will feature design changes such as new black accents and an upgraded rumble feature to prolong battery life.

They're coming in red and green, not blue. Blue already exists

People always like more colors. But man, for that price, I dunno.

Not sure about this, as I haven't bought a new controller, but don't the regular wireless controllers just come with AA batteries and not the rechargeable battery pack? That may be why they cost a little more.

Forgive by ignorance but what are black accents?

Aren't they just black lines around the buttons, etc, or am I wrong?

black accents are black color designs to contrast with the main color, in this case red and blue, to give it a better look than just a plain color.
Here is a picture of the Red controller. ugly IMO

Here in Australia we will have to pay double that of US price, even though 1USD = 1.05AUD.

You all should be happy with the prices.
