Rockstar Games today announced the staggered arrival of GTA IV on PC, as has been the case with every GTA game in the past. "We are very excited to be releasing the PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV," said Sam Houser, founder of Rockstar Games. "The game looks and plays beautifully on PC, and we can't wait for people to play it."In addition to the already proven gameplay of PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, the PC port will feature a "newly expanded multiplayer" mode, said Rockstar. It is unclear what (if any) other additions will be made.
Regardless, PC players hoping to terrorize Liberty City will have their chance on November 18.

Nevermind, will still aquire it for PC.
so even though i beat it on the xbox360 im going to 'get' it for the pc to so i can get the full experience out of the game cause of the mouses superior aiming abilities.
p.s. but one things for sure Mafia 2 will blow away GTA4 in my opinion since the original Mafia (from 2002) on the PC blows away all other GTA games prior to GTA4 and even GTA4 im guessing in the big picture that i would still prefer the original Mafia over it as i must have beat Mafia (on PC) many many times where as the GTA games i only played through once and never came back to them.
MAFIA 2 (on PC) is the main game im waiting to get a hold of BY FAR right now.... followed by Hitman 5 and then GTA4 (all on PC) and after that there's nothing i REALLY want alot besides those three games.
p.s.s. GTA4 was the FIRST GTA game i actually could play and enjoy on a console (XBox360) cause of it's refined aiming system as you still use lock on techniques but there better made so it dont feel as cheap and crappy as the previous GTA's since once you lock on you can still use analog stick's to fine tune where you aim and that's ultimately what made me 'good enough' and the game 'fun enough' to actually play through on the console.... although the PC version will still be better though cause of free aim and it will be played the way it's meant to be played on the PC instead of a lower quality lockon system that the consoles use.

To name a few: Fallout 3, Far Cry 2, Mirror's Edge, Battlefield Heroes, Command and Conquer Red Alert 3, Diablo 3, Starcraft 2, Crysis Warhead, Dead Space, Spore, Brothers in Arms Hell's Highway, EndWar, Star Wars the Force Unleashed, Call of Duty World at War.
