In more Massive news, Activision have announced that they will continue their partnership with Massive Inc for a further 18 titles. If you've ever played "Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock", or "Tony Hawk's Proving Ground", you'll probably have noticed product placement for various advertisers and products in the past via one of the 330 campaigns for 225 advertisers that have used this method through Massive.

Games included in the new 18 title deal are the new "Guitar Hero: World Tour", and "James Bond: Quantum of Solace". It will be interesting to see to what extent the advertising will extend - can BMW get James Bond into one of their cars by paying Massive, or will this be limited to subtle advertising?

Needless to say, it seems that the games market has now truely found itself a solid revenue stream in the advertising, for better or worse.
