Shacknews reports that according to Game Informer's latest issue, that we might just see a GTA sequel this year. Here are the details:

"We're not talking about new DLC or a collection of previously available DLC, we're talking about a full retail game

We expect this title to follow the suit of previous GTAs and use a subtitle such as GTA: San Andreas, etc. Tokyo might be a possible setting for the game, but details are non-existent at this time."

London is a given... but Tokyo sounds awesome!

I find it hard to believe that after just releasing the PC version there going to dish out a full new retail version before milking the PC sales for another full year at least. Maybe if its one of those console exclusive releases like they seem to be doing everytime now but still...hard to believe.

They ought to fix the PC version first. Yes, I've downloaded the patch; it doesn't seem to improve anything on my end. Textures start missing if I stray too far from my starting point, making the game ultimately unplayable. It's been sitting on my shelf since last month, and will probably stay there until I replace my machine.

I realize my current video card doesn't meet the recommended specs (8800GTS w/320MB), but it's still well above the minimum specs.

Agreed. I'm not one to complain about games in general, I played S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear sky the week it came out and loved it!

However, the PC port of GTA4 is appalling.

Remapping keys is a complete farce, they don't let you use any controller other than the official Xbox controller, you have to install Rockstar social AND Windows live, it takes a zillion gigabytes of install space, and the thing looks horrendous, even when all the textures are there.

How about they fix those before starting another? Sounds like they still have their work cut out.

Can we have jets/airplanes back? I can only imagine the fun I'd have in multiplayer with them.
