Microsoft has today added an array of European soccer jerseys to the clothing accessories available for your Xbox Live Avatar. The list includes European champions Spain, as well as other soccer mad nations including Italy, Germany, France and England.

The additions, which are free, could be an indication of other popular sports jerserys and accessories being added in the future updates.

The 18 soccer jerseys that were added to the Avatar wardrobe:

    Austria
    Belgium
    Denmark
    England
    Finland
    France
    Germany
    Ireland
    Italy
    Netherlands
    Northern Ireland
    Norway

    Scotland
    Spain
    Sweden
    Switzerland

Most of it's land mass is in Asia though. Does Russia really consider themselves part of Europe?

Russia is Euroasian country. It doesn't matter where the land mass is. Above all, if Cyprus considers herself to be European, any country could!
