This week on Impulse, Stardock's digital distribution system, titles from Ubisoft have been added and are now available for purchase and download on Impulse. Ubisoft joins this week with Assassins Creed, Far Cry 2, and Heroes of Might & Magic V: Tribes of the East."We are excited to start rolling out a vast array of engaging video games from the Ubisoft catalogue," said Brad Wardell, president and CEO of Stardock. That was something that initially excited me about Impulse, the prospect of being able to permanently store away my CD/DVD and have my serial number stored in Impulse, but very few games have that option at the moment.. and it's sad.
Is Impulse like steam, where you can download the game and install it at any point, even after OS reinstalls?
