Jerry Johnson, General Manager of Xbox Live Europe, has told VideoGamer that the Xbox 360 has the best games."I'll come back and say that Xbox has the best games out there. It's got the best first-person shooter games out there," he said. "The exclusives we've had over the past years and what we had going into this holiday prove the point that this is still very much at its heart a gaming console.
"There's nothing we're going to change with that. You will start to see us, though, do things that are broader marketing and start to expose some of the things that are broader than just first-person shooters."
Johnson went on to say that Microsoft will continue to make decisions that benefit both the hardcore gamer as well as the casual gamer.
"There's nothing we're going to change that's going to not focus on those customers more. In fact, not just this year but in the next year, we'll continue to do features that are targeted at that hardcore gamer. At the same time we are going to start to do things that appeal to both the hardcore gamer and the broader user, and continue to do things and start to do more targeted at the broader user specifically."

That's not even remotely news.
What does one expect the guy to say? That the PS3 beats his own employer's product? The Wii? He'd be unemployed in seconds.
Never have I seen so much said without actually saying anything.
god I love to see sony fanboys coming and bashing there rivals. You have the right to dislike the xbox, but saying it's for little kids? I hope you're not wii fanboy. And if you're ps3 fanboy, I hope you play NONE of the crossplatform game, else you're saying that ps3 is for little kids too, since hmmm... 99% of the ps3 games aren't exclusive, compare to 360
He said 360, not Wii
Death to Microsh!t
Sony Rules, Apple Rules !!!
+1
So I guess I agree with this news title.
I think thats kind of an over generalization.
Each person has his or her own opinion on what is a "best game".
just another m$ ad
i take it he's reffering to halo. being all the others are multi-plat.
if he wouldve said best fps controller, then i wouldve given him some credit.
halo is far from the best fps for my taste. its basic at best. THATS all they have to boast about as far as fps goes.

Remember gears of war? Also, in term of story line, ambiance, music and replayability, halo is a great game. Yes, it's basic in term of controls, but I don't recall seeing any other fps on console being more complicated. I've had fun with other fps, I'm not the greatest halo fan, but little had a story line that really interested me or that I didn't wish to skip. In halo, it was blend into the game, not simply cutscene added here and there
It does seem that the PS3 is enjoying far better exclusives at the moment through their first party support. There has been nothing of late that really pushes the 360. It would be nice if Microsoft bought up or created a couple of studio's with the edict of pushing the boundaries of what could be done on the 360.
Forza 3.... Halo Wars.... ODST?
I have an xbox, but I'm not suggesting the PS3 is any worse off not having the above games, I'm just pointing out the stupidity in your comment.
Don't get me wrong - they're are all nice games and I own them, but how are any of them furthering the capabilities of the 360 compared to something like Uncharted 2, Metal Gear Solid 4 or Killzone 2.
I love playing on the 360, and really want to see it succeed throughout this generation, but those games you mentioned are hardly cutting edge.

MGS4 don't really push the capabilities of the ps3, it seems like it, but it's far from it, simply really good programmation like mgs2 and 3 did. Killzone 2, bah, wonder why you say that. Uncharted 2, yeah it's a great game but pushing beyong, I don't think so. For me, yes they seems to "push thing beyong what have been done on the ps3", simply because the rest isn't that great in that term.
Forza 3, if we follow your point of view, did push thing beyong in the 360.
How is this News LOL....
I've seen games on the 360 that are REALY nice and on the PS3 that are REALY nice...
Right now i only have a PS3 but.... I am not going to go and say its Better or that it has the BEST games becose.
1. Theres GREAT Games on BOTH consoles...
both systems have great games... It depends on what kind of games you enjoy and what Franchise's you like.
One day I Want to buy a 360 Also.. but right now i am More than happy with the PS3...
Happy Gameing all.. and Keep safe.
Having the best version of this formula doesn't really say much about the 360.
And you lost another 10 juste writing this comment, and maybe more now that you're reading the answer and thinking of replying.
A tips for you: stop writing stupid comment, you'll lose less seconds of your life that you'll be able to spend elsewhere.
All compaines will have Y person saying Y Company (Item to sell) is (positive adjective w/ purpose to push product).
Now, I'm not saying the PS3 or Wii has the best games, I'm saying the best games are the ones that are released multi-platform, CoD for example, or GTA were all released on both 360 and PS3 (GTA4 being a bad example of a good game
