Gaming news round-up: November 3

It was another busy day for game news. Let's go over the highlights:

Call of Duty Elite delayed for PC - Activision has announced that Call of Duty Elite, the stats tracking service for Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, will be delayed for PC owners and will also be "re-imagined" for the PC platform. There's no word on when the PC version will launch

Gameforge layoffs confirmed - The free-to-play game developer and publisher has announced layoffs that affect 20 percent of its team members. Its current CEO is also leaving. It will shut down at least two of its games, Mythos and Hellbreed, and its plans for Star Trek: Infinite Space could also be affected.

Fallout New Vegas: Ultimate Edition announced - A new version of 2010's post-apocalypse RPG will ship on February 7, 2012 and will contain the original game plus all of the post-release DLC content.

Ridge Racer Unbounded gets release date - The latest game in the long running arcade racing series from Namco Bandai will be released on March 6, 2012.

Sanctum Free Weekend - You can play the tower defense game via Steam for free until Sunday; the full version is also being sold for just $4.99 for this weekend only.

Upcoming BioWare game to be revealed in December - BioWare's next game will be revealed on December 10 as part of the annual Spike TV Video Game Awards. The show will also feature a new trailer for Metal Gear Solid Rising and the first trailer for the next Alan Wake game.
