Get a free Lumia 635 with 'Halo: The Master Chief Collection' Xbox One bundle at Best Buy

There have been some pretty tasty deals popping up for Windows Phone buyers in recent weeks – from free flights with the Lumia 535 in Malaysia; to 33% off the Lumia 830 in the UK (along with a free Fitbit Flex); and a Lumia 530 for just $29 in Australia.

And now, over in the US, you can get a free Lumia 635 4G Windows Phone in a special promotion exclusive to Best Buy.

As Windows Central points out, Best Buy is giving away the Lumia 635 – which is currently on sale for $49.99 – with purchases of the Xbox One 500GB Halo: The Master Chief Collection bundle, which retails for $349.99.

Be aware that although the handset is offered off-contract, it is still locked to AT&T, and is only available in black as part of this promotion. Key specs of the Lumia 635 include:

  • 4.5-inch FWVGA (854x480px) IPS LCD with Corning Gorilla Glass 3
  • Quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor
  • 512MB RAM
  • 8GB onboard storage (plus microSD support up to 128GB)
  • 5MP rear camera with 720p video recording
  • Replaceable 1830mAh battery
  • 129.5 x 66.7 x 9.2mm; 134g

To qualify for the promotion, simply go to this Best Buy page, and follow the instructions to add both the bundle and the handset to your cart. Once added, you should see that the Lumia 635 is priced at $0.00 when you check out, and you’ll also get free shipping on both items.

If you’ve got your heart set on the Xbox One with the Master Chief Collection, but you’re indifferent about the free phone, you might want to head over to the Microsoft Store instead. Microsoft is selling the bundle for the same price, $349.99, but is offering a free copy of Titanfall along with it, rather than the free Lumia 635.
