Giveaway: Fitbug Orb [Update with Winner]

If you read our review of the Fitbug Orb and thought to yourself, "I'd like to buy one of those, but I just can't afford it," then you're in luck: We've teamed up with Fitbug to offer one lucky reader their very own Fitbug Orb!

How can you win this health-conscious prize? It's easy. We’re using Rafflecopter to help us track the entries and to randomly select the winner. If you’re not a fan of social media, we understand – and you can still enter without doing anything on Facebook or Twitter – but our social media engagement is a big part of what helps us grow (and to bring you more cool giveaways!), so we hope you understand why we’re encouraging you to use these options… and enticing you to do so with extra entries in the contest!

Please be sure to read all of the instructions carefully to ensure that you’re entered successfully. To enter you can choose one or more of the following options:

  1. Submit a comment below telling us your best New Year's resolution story (This is worth one entry and can be done once per day.)
  2. Follow @NeowinFeed on Twitter. Make sure you enter your Twitter username so we know who you are. (This is worth two entries.)
  3. ‘Like’ Neowin on Facebook. (This is worth two entries.)
  4. Tweet about the giveaway. Now, this may be a little confusing, so please follow the instructions carefully. You have to select the option below, and then click the ‘Tweet’ button that appears. That will bring up a string that you can tweet (it should read “@NeowinFeed is giving away a Fitbug Orb! #neogiveaway”, followed by a link to this page). Tweet that, then follow the steps to get the link to your tweet for confirmation. (This is worth three entries, and can be done once per day.)
  5. If you’re a paid Neowin member, we’ll also give you one extra free entry in the draw by entering your username into the raffle, so membership has its benefits!

The contest runs until midnight (ET) on Tuesday, January 21st, 2014. Good luck!

Update: Congrats to Jordan Hicks for winning the Fitbug Orb competition! Thanks to everyone who entered, and thank you for reading Neowin!

Would love a Fitbug Orb!

New Year's Resolution? I love fresh starts, but hate the feeling of defeat after a month if those resolutions haven't held. My resolution it to continue to convince myself that a resolution can be made and kept any time of the year!

My resolutions are to stop procrastinating so much, get better with my cardio and be more financially responsible.

My New Years Resolution was to not make a New Years Resolution. Still not sure how iv`e done
Looks like a neat little item...

My new years resolution is to put the past behind and go on without any worries, also quit smoking and do more exercise... very cliche I know but it's really in my schedule and I'm ticking them off one at a time

My New Years Resolution for 2014 is simple, become more active and reduce the likelihood of me developing high blood pressure and other sedentary lifestyle ailments. Bottom line, get healthy.

Last year, 2013, I decided it was time to lose weight and get into shape. I lost 40 lbs and in October ran a 10 Mile Race! This year, I want to keep the weight off and run the race again, hopefully improving my time.

My new Year's resolution is to pass the 100 yard swim with my Boy Scouts for summer camp, along with losing 80 lbs by Nov. I am eating healthier, working out every day, and tracking my calories/water intake/ goals!!!

So here goes my new year resolution story: I wanted to switch to 1080 since i have GTX 560 in sli, but got no money to buy a new monitor, I'm still stuck with a crappy 17" and 1024.
True story though.

NY Resolution is to start running again. Used to run every day before work, and slipped on the ice last year and messed up my ankle pretty bad.

My new year's resolution is to start working harder for college. I'm getting by well, but I will already be focusing on my majors next school year. It will be hard, but I know it's the best for me.

me me me

resolution to stop making new years resolutions!
and start making decisions to change something and following through with them without waiting for an arbitrary date.

do it or don't do it, no need to wait till next new year to start acting.

My new years resolution of 2013 was to beat my anxiety issues, and I did. I think it was the first time I'd ever actually did what I said I would do on new years day.
