GIVEAWAY: Linx 7 tablet + Office 365 + Microsoft Universal Mobile Keyboard! [Update: Winner!]

Last week, I shared my personal experience of using the Linx 7 tablet, one of the most affordable Windows devices ever, and explained why – despite its low price and modest specs – it was one of my favorite devices of the year.

In our first giveaway of 2016 on Neowin, we’re offering you the chance to win the Linx 7, along with a couple of extra freebies!

The Linx 7 is far from a flagship device, but it handles the basics remarkably well, and runs Windows 10 pretty smoothly. That said, it comes with Windows 8.1 out of the box, but of course, it does qualify for Microsoft's free Windows 10 upgrade.

It has a pretty decent 7-inch display with 1280x800px resolution, a quad-core 1.33GHz Intel Atom (Bay Trail-T) Z3735G processor, 1GB RAM and 32GB of storage, along with Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n and a 3500mAh battery, as well as an array of ports and surprisingly solid build quality for a low-cost device.

The Microsoft Universal Mobile Keyboard is a decent bit of kit too. It's designed to work with tablets and smartphones running not just Windows, but also Android and iOS. You can pair it with up to three devices running three different operating systems via Bluetooth, and easily switch between them.

The keyboard cover includes an integrated stand for your device too, and you can even detach the cover, putting a bit of distance between the keyboard and your device, for a more comfortable experience as you type. Close the cover, and the keyboard automatically switches off to save power.

Now, one of our lucky readers will get the chance to win the Linx 7 tablet, along with the Microsoft Universal Mobile Keyboard – and they'll also get a free one-year Office 365 Personal subscription with the device!

Be aware that the Linx 7 that we’re giving away is a UK-spec device, and the keyboard also has a UK layout. But don’t worry – our giveaway is open to all of our readers across the globe. And you won’t be getting the units that I tested either (I’m keeping my Linx 7 and keyboard!) – yours will be absolutely brand new.

Yay!

There are plenty of ways to enter, and several opportunities to gain extra chances to win! For this giveaway, we're using Rafflecopter to help us track the entries, and to randomly select a winner.

If you're not a fan of social media, we totally understand - and you can still enter without doing anything on Facebook or Twitter - but our social media engagement is a big part of what helps us to grow (and to bring you more cool giveaways), so we hope you understand why we're encouraging you to use these options... and enticing you to do so with extra entries in the contest!

To enter you can choose one or more of the following options:

  • Submit a comment below telling us what you like most about the Linx 7 tablet. (This is worth one entry.)

  • Follow @NeowinFeed on Twitter. (This is worth two entries.)
  • 'Like' Neowin on Facebook. (This is worth two entries).

The winner will be selected at random as soon as the contest has closed (the countdown at the top left of the Rafflecopter module above shows how much time you have left to enter). We'll publish details of the winner once we've made contact - so be on the lookout to find out if you've won!

Good luck!

UPDATE: We have a winner! Rafflecopter has randomly selected Denis K (aka webeagle12) as the winner of the giveaway - our warmest congratulations to him!

To those of you who weren't so lucky this time, thank you so much for taking part - and stay tuned to Neowin for more giveaways in the weeks ahead!
