Google Glass update lets you view all your contacts

Yes, you too can look (sort of) sexy!

Google is rolling out an update for Google Glass owners on Android that lets you view and select all of your phone contacts. Previously you could only view ten pre-selected contacts.

In addition, a feature has been added to select the top twenty contacts by voice, or the rest by swipe.

Other changes include a new way for messaging a contact, tapping one, and how to switch between an email, SMS or Hangouts.

Android users can use the new functionality right now by updating Glass, but iOS users will have to wait until the MyGlass app gets updated, which will happen in the "next week or so."

If you're in the UK, let us remind you that you can be a proud owner of Google Glass too for just £1000 GBP, which converts to roughly $1700 USD, as long as you are over 18 and have that sort of cash to splash about. You could also wait for the successor which will offer more models and options; if you're not too worried about being attacked in a bar or public place for having it.

I really don't see the point. Do people who wear these even have more than 10 contacts (that are willing to publicly acknowledge they are friends with a Google glass wearer)?

Saw the headline out of the corner of my eye and thought they were making Google Glass contact lenses. Talk about miniaturization.

When's the update that will stop you from looking like a douche?

Funny. I remember similar comments when pagers and cell phones were emerging in to the market.

I don't. Those aren't worn on your face. The last time comments like these were made was when Bluetooth earpieces came out. Don't see too many of those around, do you?

Please. I heard "Who is that idiot with their pager going off" or, "look at that moron walking around in the store talking on a phone."

And yes, I still here Bluetooth comments but they are getting fewer and fewer. And same thing will happen with glass. Others are developing/patenting designs and tech for their own version of glass as well. So these things are coming.

Wait previously Google Glass would block from your sight an overwhelming amount (more than 10) competing products like contacts? And why on earth would you want to look at a bunch at a time when you spent your money on $1500 glasses?!!? :uberhump:

Well, there's technically nothing stopping anyone from wearing a phone on their face, except maybe a lack of imagination or superglue... :p
