Google introduces its Amazon Echo rival with 'Home'

What you see above is Google's response to Amazon's Echo, Google Home. With the firm's announcement of its evolved personal digital assistant, the integration into a home product only seems natural.

Home is a speaker product that gives users access to Google's Assistant when they are in their home without the need of a smartphone or other product. Naturally, it will be powered by voice and will allow users to enjoy music / entertainment, manage everyday tasks, and of course, ask Google queries. While the design is simple, the bottom will be customizable, and will be offered in different colors and materials.

Home will become a control center for those that have Google powered products in their home. It will have the ability to integrate with Chromecast and broadcast music to those devices and will also be able to launch content on an Android TV supported display.

Google Home will be available sometime later this year, but pricing was not mentioned or available.
