Halo Master Chief Collection available for pre-order; tops Amazon charts

Microsoft announced Halo Master Chief Collection with a ton of enthusiasm from the fans. And it seems gamers are already willing to put their money on the line. The Halo pack is available for pre-order, and it has already taken the number one spot as the best selling game on Amazon.

The Halo Master Chief Collection is the perfect bundle according to many fans of the game. It includes HD remakes of the four main games, rebuilt for the next gen consoles and running in crisp 1080p at 60 frames per second.

The pack also includes the Halo 2 multiplayer, and over 100 multiplayer maps as well as the new digital series from Ridley Scott, Halo: Nightfall. And to top it all off, folks buying this pack will also get Beta access to Halo 5 Guardians.

It’s pretty much what every fan of the franchise has ever dreamed of, and it already shows in terms of sales. The Master Chief Collection is available for pre-order on Amazon for only $60 (£65 on Amazon UK) and in less than a day it has become the best-selling video game on the website.

The Halo Master Chief Collection will launch on November 11th in time for the holiday season, but if you want to be sure you’ll get it as fast as possible, you can go pre-order on Amazon now by hitting the source link.

$59.99 in the US (£35)
£64.99 in the UK

Think ill be importing this one for around £35, either digitally on the US marketplace or physically from Play-Asia.

Digital downloads here are usually quite a bit more pricey than retail copies of games, the current price on Amazon might just be a place holder though (i hope).

I am glad you support proprietary systems.

I don't, actually. I have a gaming PC but am not a die-hard PC gamer. I still use a Core 2 Quad and Radeon HD6870, I much prefer to stick a disc in the console and just play the game, it's quicker and doesn't cost me thousands of pounds every year to keep up to date.

I used to be die hard PC until I found my girlfriend, love seems to change everything, now I spend the money on her, at least I don't feel I'm wasting it on a PC upgrade rat race, I enjoy spending it more on a warm hearted female human being than a cold heartless machine :)

I wish they would do the pc porting of the full collection, that would be glorious.

I don't count things out now that Phil is in charge but if they do that there's no way it's soon. Maybe after Halo 5 is out on the XB1 then they can bring 1-4 to PC but not before then.

I really hope it but I thought the same thing after the release of Halo 4.
On the other hand Neowin reported, last week, that Microsoft hinted about boosting the PC gaming and their strongest franchise is obviously Halo (and Forza and Gears of War...). It's been 7 years since that Halo 2 line: "Sir. Finishing this fight."
