Hands On: Samsung ATIV SE

There is a new Windows Phone now on sale at Verizon, the Samsung ATIV SE, and we put together a quick "hands-on" video to help you get familiar with the new device. The phone costs $99 on a two-year contract or $599 if you want to pay the full price and is available now.

With high-end specs like a quad-core 2.3 Ghz Snapdragon processor and a 5in 1080P screen, on paper, the device looks fantastic. But, being made our of plastic does take away from the premium feel of the device.

We are working on our full review, which will go up next week, but for now, take a look at the video above to get an early look at the new device.

The only thing I dont like about Samsung phones is they have buttons on both sides of the phone. I never want to rest it on its side to view a video because it may press a button...

You should disable auto focus when doing this kind of video to stop the camera screwing up the focus every 10 seconds

It is disabled, actually it doesn't even have autofocus - Canon T3i.

Ah yeah I can see after rewatching the video it is just the position of the phone moving which takes it out of focus!
